This book is a regional cloud atlas, revealing systematically and comprehensively the state of clouds over " the roof of the world"-the Qinghai-Xizang plateau, and describing the weather and climate features of the Plateau.

The said atlas is divided into two parts: the first part elaborates the survey of the clouds over the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and makes a briefto the formation, shapes, structures and features of the clouds; the secod part is composed of 277 photos plus captions in 152 groups, embracing te common typical and special morphology of clouds, orographic clouds, systematic cloud system, and the evolution of clouds over the plateau.
