The first International Conference on Maintenance Engineering (ICME 2006) is sponsored and organized by the Maintenance Professional Committee of the China Ordnance Society (MPCCOS). The conference aims to bring together researchers and practitioners all over the world who are interested in sharing the latest theoretical and practical issues/findings in the maintenance field. The conference received 550 papers from 18 countries/territories, and 171 of them were selected to be included in the conference proceedings after a rigorous reviewing process. The ICME2006 covers almost all the topics in maintenance related researches, including: Maintenance Management, Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Software Reliability and Maintenance, Emergency Maintenance, Remote Diagnosis and Maintenance, e-Maintenance, Reliability, Maintainability, Testability, Supportability, to mention a few.
This international event is co-sponsored and/or supported by many well-known organizations in the maintenance research field, such as the IEEE Reliability Society, the International Foundation for Research in Maintenance (IFRIM) and the Remanufacturing Technology Committee of China Association of Plant Engineering. Some renowned experts and scholars in the research field of maintenance engineering and management have been invited and accepted to attend this conference.
