Even though the Western Zhou tombs in Luoyang were damaged by robbers, there remains a significant number of ritual bronze vessels, bronze weapons, ceramics, jades, and bone and shell artifacts from this area. They provide clue to the cultural relationship between the Shang and Zhou.
