7.STUDY ON THE VENATION OF PRIONINI (COLEOPTERA,CERAMBYCIDAE,PRIONINAE) FROM CHINA
中国锯天牛族后翅翅脉研究(鞘翅目,天牛科,锯天牛亚科,锯天牛族)
【Abstract】 In the study, the venation and the articulation of hind wing of Chinese Prionini were studied. We found articulation at wing base in Prionini was consisted of HP,1Ax,2Ax,FM and 3Ax like that of other coleopteran.Although a variety of wing-vein naming systems about hind wing of Cerambycidae adults had been proposed during the past 100 years, the naming system of Kukalová-Peck and Lawrence (1993,2004) was more reasonable and better than that of others in explanation venation of Prionini. However, branches of MP and CuA do not fuse together close to the posterior wing margin in Prionini.AA3 ends on CuP instead of CuP ending on AA3 or the combination of these veins when they meet.Branches of cubitus form the wedge cell in Prionini. All genera and species have identical articulation in hind wing and all articulations have the same shape.Nevertheless, several characters of venation may be useful to identify species in genera Dorysthenes and Prionus.

10.Space-time Distribution Pattern of Monochamus alternatus in Wanding City
畹町市松墨天牛时空分布格局研究
【Abstract】The purpose was to study space-time distribution pattern of Monochamus alternatus in Wanding City. Based on data about insect situation supervision on M. alternatus in Wanding City, using related mathematical statistics methods including linear regression analysis and spatial distribution pattern of insect population, the relationship between emergence period, emergence quantity and temperature of M. alternatus adult, spatial distribution pattern of adults and their life history were studied. [Result] M. alternatus occurred one generation per year in Wanding city, June was the maximum period of adults, which was also the key trapping period. Spatial distribution of M. alternatus was accumulative. [Conclusion] This study provided theoretical basis for further control on M. alternatus for forestry bureau of Wanding City

12.Cellulase activity and its relationship with host selection in the Asian longhorned beetle,Anoplophora glabripennis
(Coleoptera:Cerambycidae)光肩星天牛体内纤维素酶活性及其与寄主选择的关系
【Abstract】 To investigate the relationship between cellulase activity and host selection,Anoplophora glabripennis (Motsch.) larvae from four different host trees (Populus alba var.pyramidalis Bunge,Populus nigra var.thevestina (Dode) Bean,Populus simonii × Populus pyramidalis cv.opera Hsu and Salix matsudana f.lobato-glandulosa Fang et Liu) and adults fed on five different tree species were selected. The enzyme activities of endoglucanase and β-glucosidase in the intestines of the insects were measured. The results showed that in the larvae, the activity of endoglucanase ranged from 1.36 to 2.71 μmol glucose/(g FW·h),and the activity of β-glucosidase ranged from 2.57 to 4.86 μmol glucose/(g FW·h).In the adults fed on different tree species, the activity of endoglucanase ranged from 4.08 to 9.27 μmol glucose/(g FW·h),and the activity of β-glucosidase ranged from 2.87 to 6.08 μmol glucose/(g FW·h).There are no significant differences in cellulase activities among the larvae from different host trees. However, the tree species which the adults fed upon has great effect on the activity of cellulase in the adults.

【Abstract】 Summary Five subfamilies of the Cerambycidate: Lamiinae, Cerambycinae, Lepturinae (including Necydalini and Apatophysis), Aseminae (including S pondylis), and Prioninae (including Parandra) are recognized in this paper, All the evolutionary evidences provided in the present research indicate that these subfamilies may be arranged in order from the oldest to the youngest as follows: (1) Lamiinae, Prioninae, Cerambycinae, Lepturinae, Aseminae; or (2) Lamiinae, Cerambycinae, Prioninae, Lepturinae, Aseminae. The possible phylogenetic relationships among the subfamilies are also given.
