The 6th International Conference on Atmospheric Science and its Application to Air Quality (ASAAQ'98) focused on global, regional and local climate and atmospheric environment problem in terms of atmospheric science and air quality.
The contents of ASAAQ'98 include policy, regulations, pollution emission, reduction and control technology, transportation model, transformation of pollutants in the air and the impact of air pollution on human health.
It is a rather complicated process from pollutant emission to its transformation to secondary pollutants, to pollution diffusion and transportation. This process not only belongs to the scope of atmospheric science research, but also directly determines the air quality.
This book collects most of the papers of ASAAQ'98 participants. It is necessary to publish these papers so as to enable these research achievements and experiences to be shared with their counterparts in this field
