The present book is a taxonomy study of the Chinese Coelidiinae(Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) , it includes general introduction and taxa parts. In the general section includes the historic review of Coelidiinae, morphological structure and taxonomic characters of the adult, biology and ecology, economic importance and pest management and Faunal analysis.
In the taxonomic section, 2 tribes, 19 genera and 167 species of Coelidiinae are described and illustrated from China. Among them, 7 genera 57 species are new to science, 3 species are new records from China, 1 new combination are proposed and 6 species are synonymized. At the same time, 167 figures of male genitalia and adult of Coelidiinae species are given. Keys to the Chinese Coelidinae genera and species of genera are presented.
The type specimens of the new specles are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China(GUGC)
