Early-Middle Jurassic Phytoecology and Coal-Accumulating Environments in Northern Hebei and Western Liaoning

This book is an achievement of synthetical research on Early-Middle Jurassic terrestrial stratigraphy, paleobotany, paleophytoecology, paleoclimatology, sedimentology and coal geology in northern Hebei and Western Liaoning , China. It introduces 13 stratigraphic sections and describes 96 species in 37 genera of fossil plants. Based on these, floral characteristics, taphonomical and ecological analyses, paleoclimatic conditions and changes in different districts and periods are studied, Meanwhile, according to the sedimentological researches, depositional environments, depositional filling sequences and characteristics of coal-accumulating are analysed. The thinking and method of this book are novel. There are 39 fossil plates in it.
