This volume comprises of 2 sections. In the first section, it is a brief account on research history, general morphology, classificatiory systems, faunistics, biology and the phylogenetic relationships of generic level of Miridae-Orthotylinae. Section 2 is the systematic account of the Chinese Orthotylinae. 122 species belonging to 27 genera are recognized and keyed. 17 species are described as new to science. They are Blepharidopterus brunneus sp.nov., Blepharidopterus mixtus sp. nov., Coridromius angularis sp. nov., Malacocorisella aurea sp. nov., Orthotylus (Litocoris) rubinervus sp. nov., Orthotylus (Melanotrichus) convexus sp. nov., Orthotylus (melanotrichus)elegantulus sp. nov., Orthotylus (Melanotrichus) leukus sp. nov, Orthotylus (Melanotrichus) longulus sp. nov., Orthortylus (orthotylus) immaculatus sp. nov., Orthotylus (orthotylus) rubioculus sp. nov., Orthotylus (orthotylus) sericeus sp. nov., Orthotylus (orthotylus) zhengi sp. nov., Orthotylus (Parapachylops) nigrilaneus sp. nov., Orthotylus (Parapachylops) planus sp. nov., Zanchius tristripeus sp.nov. and Zanchius viridislineatus sp. nov. One new synonymies (senior synonym first :Zanchius marmoratus Zou=Zanchius zoui Zheng et Liu). 7 species are newly recorded in China. They are Coridromius marmoreus Tatarnic et Cassis, Coridromiu pteraulos Tatarnic et Cassis, Dryophilocoris saigusai Miyamoto, Labops nivchorum Kerzhner, Globiceps fulvicollis Jakovlev, Orthotylus (Melanotrchus) choii Josifov and Orthotylus (Melanotrichus) fieberi Frey-Gessner. Full description of most species including those of genitalia, its measurements, biological notes, and distributional date are given.
