Flora Bryophytorum Sinicorum (Vol.8) Hypnobryales Buxbaumiales Polytrichales Takakiales

This voluems is the final one of the mosses of the Flora Bryophytorum Sinicorum.Besides the most advance families Sematophyllaceae, Hypnaceae and Hylocomiaceae in the system of the pleurocarpus mosses, Buxbaumiales and Polytrichales are included according to the system of Chen Pan-Chieh’s (1963, 1978) in the Genera Muscorum Sinicorum Vol.I—II. Together with the previous seven volumes of the Flora Bryophytorum Sinicorum, it Consititutes the whole flora of Chinese mosses, which will be the largest moss flora not only in the East Asia but also in the north hemisphere.
