For the purpose of nurturing practical application ability and innovative spirit of students of International College at Beijing, China Agricultural University, ICB has been holding URP(Undergraduate Research Program) since September 2006.
Five rounds of URP at ICB have been successfully completed. As the Secretary of the Party Committee of ICB and one of the supervisors, I have a deep impression about the creative input and fruitful achievements by URP students in the past five years.
The papers included in the proceedings were finally selected from many candidate papers by the Editorial Committee of ICB. The great improvement on the quality of these papers can be seen obviously. It is always exciting to see so many students have moved the first step towards the academic research career.
