The skulls of the ape-men are rare in the world. China discovered the fossils of the mankind in the largest number in the world. The most discovered in the past are some bone pieces and teeth. In 1929, the skull fossils of Beijing Men were found in Zhou Koudian, Beijing and they were disappeared during the War of Resistance Against Japan. Therefore , the comparatively intact skull, cheek and limb fossils of Tangshan ape-men discovered in Tangshan are especially precious. They are important material objects for researching the origin of the mankind, ancient geography and ancient environment, etc.
