This is the first book on insect fauna of Jiangsu provice, China. Delphacidae Fauna of Jiangsu. The Delphacidae(Insecta: Hemiptera) occurred in Jiangsu were summarized, a total 59 species, belonging to 2 subfamilies and 46 genera are recorded. Among of them, 2 genera and 4 species are described as new to science, another 3 genera and 2 species are recorded as new to Jiangsu delphacid fauna. Morphological descriptions, hosts and distributions are provided, keys subfamilies, tribes,genera and species, diagnostic photos for each species and adult photos in 14 plates are also presented in this book.
《江苏飞虱志》是江苏出版的第一本昆虫地方志，也是对飞虱区系种类进行系统分类研究的总结。书中共记述飞虱59种，分隶于2亚科、46属，其中包括2新属、4新种、3江苏新纪录属和2江苏新纪录种。除记述了每个种的形态特征、寄主和分布外，还编有各分类阶元的检索表，并附有特征图片和成虫彩色图版。
