Insects of Wangjiayuan-1062 insect species with color pictures from a village of Beijing

The book contains 1062 species (30 species to generic level), belonging to 15 orders, 203 families, with up to four images per species including an image of the adult (with a few exceptions). Images are taken in field with a few indoor ones. Each species includes succinct text with information on scientific name, recognition, food plants (if available), adult occurrence time in Beijing, and distribution. 138 species are recorded as new to Beijing, and 11 of them are new records to China.
