This paper deals with stratigraphy and paleontology of Late Paleozoic in Qimantag region, Qinghai Province, which may be a first detail information of this area in this respect.

The Late Paleozoic strata can be subdivided into seven formations and four members. There are twenty fossil zones or assemblages and four subzones, all of which are described in here, with 17 plates showing a feature of fossils and 10 tables and 18 figures.
