The handbooks aim to be practical, reliable, simple, portable and easy to understand. Consisting of four volumes, the handbooks have a collection of 600 types of medicinal herbs in common use and are laid out in pictures and captions in the order of the Hutchinson System.
Volume 1 records 150 types of common medicinal wild plants of pteridophyte, gymnosperm and dicotyledon. Volume 2 records 150 types of common medicinal wild plants of dicotyledon. Volume 3 records 150 types of common medicinal wild plants of dicotyledonous and monocotyledon. Volume 4 records 150 types of common medicinal wild plants of pteridophyte, gymnosperm, dicotyledonous and monocotyledon.
