The Chinese genera of the family Encyrtidae are reviewed in light of systematics advances. A key to the Chinese genera of Encyrtidae is provided, and illustrated by 111 scanning electron micrographs and 71 drawings. Of the 112 genera, 291 species studied, 19 genera and 23 species are first recorded from China. Oophagus Liao is synonymized with Avetianella Trjapitzin. Six combinations are proposed: Anagyrus brachyclavae is transferred from Doliphoceras, Avetianella ambigua from Oophagus, Eupoecilopoda liaoningensis from Isodromus, Metaphycus flava, Metaphycus longicaudae and Metaphycus longipedicella from Aenasioidea. Avetianella ambigua is proposed as a new replacement name for Avetianella batocerae. Each genus is accompanied with synonymy list, diagnostic characters, notes including the data of distribution, list of Chinese species, most useful references, sometimes systematic comments, and also biology data available.
