This book is the first most authoritative and comprehensive academic book illustrating the flowers in the wilderness of China with both photographs and text. The book contains over 900 precious colour photographs of 748 highly ornamental wild flowers belonging to 300 genera and 80 families, taken on the spot by specialists of the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences through more than 10 years of China's wild plant resources investigations and scientific expeditions.
