Proceeding of Third International Safflower Conference (June 14-18, 1993, Beijing, China)

About 130 papers are compiled in the proceedings concerning subjects of a wide range, such as cultivation, breeding, genetic resources, growth and development and chemical composition analysis and utilization of by-products are submitted. Majority of papers discussed are in cultivation and breeding. It indicated that the scientists challenge themselves to improve cultivation and obtain new varieties of safflower. We believe that the proceedings will greatly promote the development of the scientific research and production of safflower in the world.
