This proceedings contains the papers presented at the China – France Symposium on Finite Element Mothods ,held in Beijing,April 19-23, 1982.
This symposium was sponsored jointly Academia Sinica and L’Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (INRIA) ,France. Academin Sinica took the responsibility of organizing the symposium. Besides the Chinese and French particepants,a number of guest speakders from West Germany , Italy ,Japan and the United States were also invited.
