The Tibet Museum, aiming at enhancing the protection of cultural relics, was completed in October 1999. It is one of the largest museums in China, having a rich collection of about 10, 000 pieces. Containing nearly 300 photographs of more than 200 representative pieces of different styles and times, this pictorial album depicts the various aspects of Tibetan history and culture.
