“OZ SAGA” & “Beijing 6X6” is a multi-disciplinary design firm providing urban planning, architectural, interior and landscape consulting services. Founded in Australia in 1990s, the firm is now comprised of near hundred professional and support staff practicing in Beijing and Hangzhou in China.
This book is a project report about a group of buildings, which is under construction. It is a collection of designer’s drawings on the conceptual formative stages of the project. These drawings reflect a thinking process of designers, who conceive all sorts of possibilities for clients to understand their way to use the building, and try to create the sense of the real situation.
As a small mountain resort, total construction area of the project is only about 1900 square meters, but located in an very famous national forest park—Qing Cheng mountain, Chengdu city, Si Chuan province of far south west of China. It is mainly used for short time holidays and informal meeting place for high social class clients during the summer and winter seasons.
