Macropsinae from China (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae)--In the present work, the brief history of research, morphological characteristics, classification system, biology, economic value of Macropsinae from China are introduced and discussed. Mostly 131 Macropsinae species in China belonging to 8 genera(Hemiptera: Membtacoidea: Cicadellidae) are recognized including 1 new generic status, 14 new species, 7 Chinese new records, 1 new name, 6 new combinations, 1 new generic and 1 new specific synonyms, every species has a brief morphological description, of which 128 species are attached structural feature plates (male and /or female genitalia), of which 83 are followed colour plates (habitus in dorsal and lateral view). Keys to Chinese Macropsinae gener and species are also provided.
