Insects of the Great Yarlung Zangbo Canyon of Xizang, China

The Great Yarlung Zangbo Canyon is located in the east end of Himalaya mountains. It is 504.6 km long and deepest place 6,009 m. It is of complecated natural landscape and rich biodiversity. The Chinese Science Expedition Association orgonized an exploration on foot to the canyong in 1998. This book is the result of this survey to the canyon. It records the insects 459 species belonging to 13 orders, 95 families, 360 genera.
