Keys are given to genera, species groups, subspecies groups and species in this paper Under each genus, the generic synonym, systematic history and present systematic status, phylogenic relationship, diagnostic characters, distribution and biology are reviewed and discussed. All the species treated in this paper are described and illustrated fully except a few species which are not available. After the systematic account, the literature cited in this paper is listed. Indices to Chinese and scientific names of the parasites are also given. Finally, a list of the known Chinese genera and species of the subfamily meteorinae with their hosts and distribution is provided. This list records 2 genera and 89 species from China.
