Introduction: This volume is composed of the following three parts: the 10 lectures delivered by the American participants, the 21 lectures and the 13 poster presentations given by the Chinese participants. Of these contributions 29 deals with parasitic and predatory natural enemies of insect pests, 13 with insect parhogenetic microbes and 2 with insect pheromones.
