Wfldffe Protection Law,on December 1 0,1 988,theState Department issued a
Ksylist of Protected AnimaLsof all those wildlife species requiring governmental
protection。Both the Wildlife Protection Iaw and the key List of Protected Ani-
reals have served as linchpins of official Chinese pelicy on domestic wildlife COll.
