Widely renowned as a fairyland, Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve is located in the northern part of Sichuan. In 1992, UNESCO declared it a world Heritage Site. The reserve encompasses an area of 65,000 hectares with the altitude varying from 2000 meters at the entrance to 4700 meters at its highest peak.
