Studies on the Biodiversity and Its Conservation in Yunnan ,China

Biodiversity is the material base on which people rely for existence and development, and its potential role-affecting mankind is beyond measure. However, Yunnan's biodiversity is faced with the menace of exceessive expoitation of resources and changes in environmental condition caused by the activities of an expanding human population. Now, more and more people are waking up to the need for protecting nature. Biodiversity conservation and sustainable development are being followed with great interest internationally.
