This monograph, Systematic Butterfly Names of the World, introduces the systematic classification of world's butterflies. Using the latest studies from Chinese and overseas publications, Chinese names of more than 15 000 species of world's butterflies are introduced. The names were based on researching the butterflies'characteristics, their distributions, nomenclatures and taxonomy, and thus formed the basis of systematic naming foreign butterflies in Chinese.
