The Qinglin-Dabie orgogenic belt is a collision zone between the North China and the Yangtze continental blocks. It has a tectonic history of multistage "opening" and "Closing". There are a lot of HP and UHP rocks having been found since the mid of 1980's, and this belt has been a natural laboratory open for international geological research.
